CSL Board of Trustees
The Central Skagit Rural Partial-County Library District is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees, appointed by the Skagit County Commissioners. Trustees are appointed for five-year terms, and cannot serve more than two consecutive full terms. The Board of Trustees derives its authority from the Revised Code of Washington 27.12.
The Board is responsible for library finances, oversight, policies, and setting the strategic direction of the library. Day-to-day management of the library is the responsibility of the Library Director, hired by the Board.
Regular meetings of the Board are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00pm. All meetings are held at the Central Skagit Library in Sedro-Woolley. Persons with special needs or disabilities who will need accommodations to attend the meeting are asked to notify the library at least three business days in advance of the meeting.
