    [synopsis] => When volatile travel writer Evie Lorrigan arrives in Tuscany to review the agriturismo holiday resort Villa Brocanti, she is infuriated to find the place deserted. Evie knows nothing of the Brocanti family history and is therefore unaware that over one hundred years before, a Brocanti ancestor, the tyrannical Marchese Salvatore Brocanti, had used his artistic brilliance to create a masterpiece of deception to exact jealous revenge on his unfaithful wife. But in his all-consuming rage, the marchese failed to anticipate that others could also be snared, tragic victims of his evil creation.

What Evie does know is that she is trapped in a nightmare with no food and limited water. And no one knows she is there.

An Imperfect Revenge is an eerily claustrophobic psychological thriller about one man's crazed mission for retribution, a mission with tragic consequences still lying in wait more than a century later for anyone who ventures too close.
