Description
Russian royal Paul (Ronald Colman) has run off to France to escape political turmoil in his native country after World War I. There, he decides to collect money from his fellow expatriates and try his luck at a Monte Carlo casino, hoping to win big in order to benefit his fellow Russians. Surprisingly, Paul does just that; in fact, he's so successful that the casino's proprietors hire the lovely Helen (Joan Bennett) to lure the prince back into establishment to put his fortune on the line.
